«As is known, the territory of the abandoned elevator was a gathering point for various groups, stalkers and other individuals who used to climb our rooftops. We are now in the final stage of demolition, and I think we will complete it by March,» said Alexey Petrov, a representative of Inko.
The developer plans to use the vacated land for a new residential complex. A specific project has not yet been presented, but the company is considering the possibility of improving the preserved piers.
«The elevator has three grain-loading piers and two loading piers. If possible, in coordination with various authorities, we would like to transform them and create pedestrian walkways there. That is, to preserve the history and provide a place for citizens to stroll,» stated the developer company.
This facility is not the only one disappearing in Tyumen. In 2025 alone, five buildings have been demolished in the city.
