Tyumen's Lesobaza district to become unrecognizable after renovation
Plans call for replacing private housing with multistory residential blocks and full social infrastructure.

The Tyumen administration has presented comprehensive development plans for the Lesobaza area, which is currently dominated by private housing.
«We are looking at the entire territory comprehensively. There will be two schools, nine kindergartens. Two sports facilities will be built. As part of the renovation, a large complex with an arena will appear on Sakhalinskaya Street. We position this as a center of attraction for residents,» the mayor«s office stated.
In addition, the district will get:
- four medical institutions;
- two police stations;
- one library;
- a building for supplementary education.
Renovation works are also underway in other districts of Tyumen, where new housing is being built under more than 20 contracts. Major transformations are also planned in Tobolsk, where construction will unfold near the Irtysh River bank.
