Schools, Kindergartens, and an Ice Palace: Tyumen's Lesobaza District to Be Transformed

City authorities have detailed the construction plans for the Lesobaza district, promising a significant number of social infrastructure facilities.
“We are looking at the entire territory as a whole. There will be two schools, nine kindergartens. Two sports facilities will be built. As part of the renovation, a large complex with an arena will appear on Sakhalinskaya Street. We are positioning this as a center of attraction for residents,” officials from the city administration said.
In addition, Lesobaza will get four healthcare facilities, two police stations, one library, and another building for additional education.
The renovation bulldozer is gradually rolling through various districts of Tyumen. A separate report covered which companies are handling the comprehensive residential development (CRD). The list includes more than 20 contracts for housing construction across the city.
Renovation is underway not only in Tyumen but also in Tobolsk. We also reported on CRD in the ancient Siberian city — construction is set to unfold almost on the banks of the Irtysh River.
