Prosecutor Recovers Land for Omsk Beer Factory

The Omsk prosecutor«s office has returned to state ownership the land under the production building of the beer factory on Volochaevskaya Street through a court decision. Previously, the plots under the building itself and around it were illegally divided and transferred to private hands.
Because of this, the preservation and restoration of the cultural heritage monument have become practically impossible. Additionally, according to the department«s information, fire access roads to the building and the neighboring residential house have been blocked. On one of the plots adjacent to the historical monument, there are a car pawnshop, a parking lot, and a tire repair shop.
«Based on the inspection results, the prosecutor»s office filed a lawsuit in court to declare the land sale contracts invalid, to reclaim into state ownership the land plots under the specified building, as well as the adjacent territory necessary for the operation of the monument, and public access roads to it and neighboring buildings.«
The arbitration court fully satisfied the prosecutor«s office»s claims. After the decision comes into force, the department will monitor its implementation.
