Ten years ago, authorities and businesses developed cities in parallel. Today, they are increasingly joining forces to work systematically and more productively. Moreover, young people are now being involved in creating a modern urban environment. And such projects are being implemented not only in Moscow or St. Petersburg, but also in Volgograd. An example of this is the transformation of the Tsaritsa River valley.

Recently, Peresvet-Yug completed the construction of the final section of a road here, which connected KIM Street with Simbirskaya Street in the Voroshilovsky District. But it is unfair to call this facility an ordinary road. To build it, a retaining wall was erected on the site – a complex hydraulic structure.

The scale of the support piles dwarfs even large vehicles like KAMAZ trucks in comparison.

728 piles are structurally connected by three horizontal slabs: the first one is a meter thick and is located at a depth of 18 m. Under it, a drainage layer with a thickness of 35 to 50 cm is made. It protects the structure from undermining by collecting and diverting water into a collector. Ten years ago, it was hard to imagine that such a project could even be implemented. Thanks to this, the Voroshilovsky slope of the Tsaritsa has been stabilized: it no longer collapses, losing several meters each year.

The unique facility has not only made life in the microdistrict safer but also improved transport accessibility. It has allowed the implementation of a number of projects in the valley, to the creation of which young people have also been attracted. In the lower perimeter, territory has already been prepared for the construction of the Stalingrad Technopark, where Peresvet-Yug will act as the operator for Skolkovo.

Technopark residents will enjoy preferential conditions similar to a free economic zone within the city.

Specialists here will develop digital solutions for implementation in industry and business, and young people will be able to realize their projects and startups. The site is planned to open next year. However, authorities and the developer already note great interest in the project.

The Stalingrad Technopark is conceived as one of the most ambitious urban initiatives. It is capable of attracting people to Volgograd from different regions of Russia and from abroad, and the technologies and solutions developed here may eventually improve not only the region but the entire country.

The Tsaritsa River valley is undergoing transformation to become a future city attraction.

In the upper perimeter of the unique structure, there is a road leading to the URBN residential quarter, which is also being implemented by Peresvet-Yug.

URBN Residential Complex is a multifunctional urban space that combines apartments, apartments, offices, and useful services. The technological architecture of the quarter is complemented by multi-level landscaping and thoughtful public spaces. The courtyard is closed off from cars and outsiders – making it safer and more comfortable. And the space is designed so that everyone can realize their leisure scenario. Playing with children, watching a movie outdoors, having tea in a gazebo, or inviting neighbors to play volleyball – everything is possible. The halls delight with style and coziness, and the layout formats – with diversity and thoughtfulness of every square. There are classic solutions and non-standard ones: apartments with terraces, with windows in the kitchen work area, with two summer rooms.

These developments highlight the ongoing urban transformation and infrastructure improvements in Volgograd.

Thanks to the reconstruction of the road transport network, it has become easier for residents and future newcomers of URBN Residential Complex to leave the quarter. In addition to a convenient transport interchange, lighting, a video surveillance system, and a comfortable pedestrian zone have appeared in this part of the Voroshilovsky District, making the location safer. Noise-protective screens will maintain calm in nearby houses.

And the landscaping along the highway and sidewalks will connect the residential quarters with the landscape park of the Tsaritsa River valley, which is only a three-minute walk away. The city plans to landscape an area of 40 ha so that people have more reasons to walk in the fresh air, engage in sports, and simply distract from gadgets and work.

As told by the press service of Peresvet-Yug, the developer would gladly participate in this project, as the company«s goal is to make Volgograd the most modern city in the world, where innovation and development are prioritized.
