Bailiffs Auction Off Debtors' Homes in Yaroslavl Region

Bailiffs have put up for sale the property of debtors from the Yaroslavl Region. At these auctions, one can often buy expensive equipment, cars, and even housing at below-market prices.

This review has selected the top five apartments and houses currently being auctioned off in the Yaroslavl Region.

For Less Than Half a Million

Among the lots are properties with obviously low prices. For instance, a 51-square-meter (549 sq ft) apartment with a starting price of 487,000 rubles (about $5,400). However, it is located far from the regional capital—in the settlement of Govyrino, Pereslavl-Zalessky district, at 2 Lesnaya Street.

There are no individuals registered in it, but the property is under bank lien. The building itself is not included in the regional capital repair program. The owner is listed as the administration of Pereslavl-Zalessky district.

A 54.7-square-meter (589 sq ft) apartment in Yaroslavl at 10a 50 Let VLKSM Street in the Zavolzhsky district is being sold for 1,877,600 rubles (about $20,900). There are no individuals registered in the apartment; the real estate is under bank lien. There is also a debt of 18,842 rubles (about $209) for capital repair contributions.

Housing in Bragino for 3 Million

An apartment of 40.2 square meters (433 sq ft) is being sold at 38 Dzerzhinsky Avenue, Building 2, in Yaroslavl. There are registered individuals; the property is under lien. There is also a debt of 36,641 rubles (about $407) for capital repair contributions.

House for One and a Half Million

A house of 55 square meters (592 sq ft) is being sold in the village of Malaya Brembola, at 15 Tsentralnaya Street, in the Pereslavl-Zalessky district. No individuals are registered, but the property is under bank lien. The starting price is 1,424,000 rubles (about $15,800).

House Near Yaroslavl

A house of 85.6 square meters (921 sq ft) is being sold in the Yaroslavl district for a noticeably higher price. The minimum asking price for the property in the area of the garden partnership «Sosnyachok,» plot 3, is 4,200,000 rubles (about $46,700). A land plot of 1,190 square meters (12,809 sq ft) is also included in the sale. There are registered individuals; the real estate is under lien.

Applications to participate in the auction must be submitted by January 30. The auction will be held on February 3.
