Engineer appointed deputy construction minister in Zabaikalsky Krai

Yevgeny Prodan has been appointed deputy minister of construction for Zabaikalsky Krai, the regional government reported on its Telegram channel on 30 January.

Yevgeny Prodan was born on 26 July 1979 in the city of Sambor, Lviv Oblast. He graduated from Ulyanovsk State Technical University with a degree in civil engineering.

He has worked in various construction positions since 2000. Prior to this appointment, Yevgeny Prodan worked as deputy director for social facilities at the state institution «Capital Construction Department of Zabaikalsky Krai».

In 2019, Yevgeny Prodan was mentioned in media reports as the head of construction for the metro directorate — the company Mosinzhproekt. The newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva reported that he participated in the creation of new stations on the Butovskaya and Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya lines.
