A personnel change has occurred in the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs office for the Stavropolsky District. Police Major Konstantin Avinov has been appointed as the head of the State Traffic Inspectorate office. The corresponding order has already taken effect.

As reported by the press service of the district traffic police, Konstantin Sergeyevich Avinov is an experienced internal affairs officer.

“Konstantin Sergeyevich has higher education and extensive experience in the internal affairs bodies. He is a professional who knows the specifics of the service well. The main tasks of the new traffic police head will be further work to improve road safety in the Stavropolsky District, accident prevention, and organization of traffic supervision,”
the department noted.

The appointment is related to a planned personnel rotation. The previous head of the unit was transferred to a new position in Tolyatti. Alexander Yefanov officially took office on January 19, 2026.
