The former head of a kindergarten in Engels has been found guilty of fraud and official forgery. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Saratov Region.

From February 2017 to March 2024, the accused fictitiously employed two women who did not actually work at the kindergarten. Their salary smoothly flowed into the head«s pocket — the amount exceeded 1.5 million rubles (over $16,700 at current rates). The woman entered knowingly false information into hiring orders, work time sheets, and other official documents to conceal her actions.

The court sentenced her to 2 years and 6 months of forced labor with 15% of her wages withheld for the state.
