Yekaterinburg Woman Finds Toddler Left Outside Private Kindergarten

A resident of the Akademchesky district in Yekaterinburg found a little girl in the courtyard. She was sitting alone in the courtyard at Akademika Sakharova Street, 81, with no one around. Around the girl«s neck was a scarf that is worn by pupils of the private kindergarten located in the apartment building.

«The child was forgotten to be picked up from the walk. I was shaking all over in that moment. Fortunately, the little girl was calm and didn’t cry,» said E1.RU reader Anastasia. «I took her by the hand, and we quietly went to the kindergarten. They opened the door saying, »Oh my God,« snatched the child from me sharply, and closed the door again; I didn’t even have time to say anything.»

According to the woman, when she brought the child, the other children had already undressed and entered the group, and no one had even missed the little girl. Anastasia reported the incident to the E1.RU editorial office to find the girl«s parents. She is sure that the kindergarten will try to hide this incident from them.

We reached out for a comment to the private kindergarten on Sakharova Street.

«All our children are in place, everyone has entered the group,» said the kindergarten. «Perhaps at that moment we were just coming in from the street, exactly.»

The Investigative Committee of Sverdlovsk Oblast has opened a criminal case for failure to fulfill child-rearing duties.
