Yekaterinburg residents vanish in Egypt after visiting pyramids

A collage includes an image of Vladislav Revenko, one of the two Yekaterinburg residents who disappeared in Egypt.
The mother of one of the missing tourists shared details of their disappearance. Two friends from Yekaterinburg did not return home from Egypt. Nikita Talanov and Vladislav Revenko flew to Sharm el-Sheikh for vacation on January 21 and were supposed to return on the 27th. But a day before the flight, the guys stopped answering calls and messages, and never arrived at the airport.
As Nikita«s mother said, before disappearing, they went to Cairo with a friend and never made contact again.
«My son posted a photo of the pyramids at eight in the evening — and disappeared. There is a possibility that they might be in police custody. They have one hobby — graffiti, they are street artists. And I have suspicions that they went there for that purpose. I»m not sure, of course, but we can«t contact them in any way,» the mother of 27-year-old Nikita told E1.RU.
As E1.RU was informed by the representative office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yekaterinburg, they learned about the tourists« disappearance from the media. None of Nikita and Vladislav»s relatives have contacted the department.
«To date, no appeals have been received from the relatives of the said Russian citizens or law enforcement agencies. We have proactively sent a corresponding inquiry to the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Cairo,» the Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative office reported.
The day before, another emergency occurred — an Azur Air plane sent a distress signal in the sky over Vietnam. Fortunately, everything turned out fine. As the airline said, the plane safely made an unplanned landing.
