A fire broke out on Stepnaya Street in the village of Rogovo, Venevo district, last night, which almost ended in tragedy. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM).
Firefighters promptly arrived after a report of flames in a residential house. By the time EMERCOM personnel arrived, the fire was raging over an area of 29 square meters, completely engulfing the roof and destroying everything inside.
Only a charred skeleton of the building remained.
Ten people and three pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
A woman who was in the house at the time was injured in the fire. With various burns, she was hospitalized in a medical facility.
The causes of the fire are unknown and will be determined by a fire investigator.
