Woman dragged several meters in Tyumen central accident video

A horrifying car accident occurred in central Tyumen yesterday, January 28, around 5 PM. Footage shows a woman trying to run across the road in an unauthorized place but getting under the wheels of a car. The surveillance camera recording was published by the public page «ChS Tyumen» (Emergency Situations Tyumen) on VK.

It is visible that the woman was walking in a hood and noticed the approaching car from the right too late. Apparently, she tried to jump back, but slipped and fell right under the wheels of the car. The woman was dragged about 10 meters, and then the car collided with another passenger car.

The State Traffic Inspectorate reported that two people were injured in the accident – a pedestrian and a female passenger. A Honda hit the woman who was running across the road, after which the car was thrown onto a Kia. The pedestrian has a pelvic bone injury.

The editorial office contacted the Department of Health of the Tyumen Region for a comment. At the time of publication, no response had been received.
