According to the Siberian woman, the accident happened in the second entrance. The chair of the building«s council has already sent a pre-trial claim to the construction company VIRA.

«On 3 November 2025 and 28 January 2026, identical accidents occurred, related to the failure of shut-off and control equipment on the 12th floor. These incidents led to large-scale flooding from the 12th to the 1st floors, forced stoppage of elevator equipment, and have long-term consequences in the form of incorrect operation of the elevators» electronics,« said a resident of the building.

The reader specified that a day after the accident, they tried to start the passenger elevator.

«The electronics are suffering due to the flooding. Now they are trying to start the elevators quickly so that everything calms down. But this is extremely unsafe for the residents. I must prevent their launch without a full inspection,» clarified the resident of 162 Petukhova Street.

An NGS correspondent sent a request to the construction company VIRA to get a comment on the incident.

Earlier, NGS reported that in Novosibirsk, two floors of a parking lot were flooded in an elite residential complex.
