Nikita Talanov and Vladislav Revenko from Yekaterinburg have not returned home from a planned trip to Egypt. The young men flew to Sharm el-Sheikh on January 21, and their return flight was scheduled for the 27th.

A day before the flight, contact with the tourists was lost. They stopped answering calls and messages from relatives and never arrived at the airport to board the plane.

Nikita Talanov«s mother said that before disappearing, her son and his friend went to Cairo. »My son posted a photo of the pyramids at eight in the evening — and disappeared. There is a chance they might be in police custody. They have one hobby — graffiti, they are street artists. And I have a suspicion that they went there for that purpose. I«m not sure, of course, but we cannot contact them in any way,» she said.

The representative office of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yekaterinburg stated that information about the disappearance came to them from the media. There have been no official appeals from the relatives of Nikita and Vladislav or from law enforcement agencies. Despite this, diplomats have sent a corresponding inquiry to the consular department of the Russian Embassy in Cairo.
