Truck hits Gazelle van on M-12 approach, driver killed
A 38-year-old man died when a Mercedes-Benz truck collided with his Gazelle Next van on an approach road to the M-12 highway in Bashkiria, according to traffic police.

A fatal traffic accident occurred in the Kushnarenkovsky district of Bashkiria. The traffic police reported that a 38-year-old driver of a Gazelle Next died when a Mercedes-Benz truck crashed into it.
The accident happened on the approach to the federal M-12 highway from the R-240 road (at the 80th kilometer). The truck was driven by a 46-year-old man traveling from Dyurtyuli to Ufa.
«To avoid hitting a stationary Lada Granta car, the truck moved into the oncoming lane, where it collided head-on with an oncoming Gazelle Next,» the press service of the Bashkiria traffic police reported.
The driver of the Gazelle died at the scene. An investigation is underway, with traffic police officers establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
