Thailand jails Vladivostok native Erika V. for assaulting officer

The Thai court reduced Erika«s visa overstay fine from 14,000 to 4,000 baht.
The Immigration Police of Thailand detained Erika V., a woman from Primorsky Krai who went missing twice in Bangkok. She is currently in a temporary detention center. This was reported by volunteer Svetlana Sherstoboeva on her channel «Pattaya from A to Z».
According to her, during the detention, Erika resisted arrest and assaulted a police officer, which is why they did not remove her handcuffs even during meals, although they usually don«t do this with calm Europeans.
Facial recognition cameras helped find Erika in Bangkok. By that time, her visa had already expired. Until then, she continued to lead a dissolute lifestyle, posting photos with expensive cocktails on a new account.
Sherstoboeva noted that the fine for visa overstay was 14,000 baht (approximately 34,860 rubles, about $367 at current rates) — 500 baht per day. In the end, the court reduced the amount to 4,000 baht — half of which has already been credited (minus 500 baht for each day in prison).
The volunteer admitted that she informed Erika«s relatives and friend about the situation, but they reacted to this news coolly, without emotion.
Erika lived on Koh Samui island in Thailand, and on 12 September she came to Bangkok with her daughter. On the night of 13 September, the woman went missing in the area of Sukhumvit Street, where she had arrived by taxi. She left her four-year-old daughter in the hotel room: police sent the child to an orphanage. On 19 September, Erika«s mother came to Bangkok and picked up her granddaughter.
On 21 September, good news appeared: Erika was found in one of the cheap hostels: its staff recognized the missing girl. She lived there for five days, but on 22 September the girl went missing again.
