Stabbing on Arbat in Moscow Leaves Multiple Injured

On the night of 29 January in central Moscow — right on Arbat — a conflict between several men ended in a stabbing. This was reported by TASS citing the press service of the Russian Interior Ministry«s Main Directorate.

According to preliminary information, a verbal altercation occurred between the men, during which one of them pulled out a knife. He stabbed another participant in the conflict in the stomach, and then cut the cheek of another person. The attacker was knocked down and beaten.

One of the men received a knife wound to the stomach, another — a cheek wound, and a third — serious head injuries. All participants in the fight were hospitalized.

Police detained two visitors aged 35 and 27, and other participants in the conflict are being identified, added the press service. According to REN-TV, a criminal case has been opened against the men under the article «Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm».
