Sochi CEO charged for unpaid employee wages

The Investigative Department for the Central District of Sochi of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) for Krasnodar Krai has charged a 34-year-old general director of a limited liability company (LLC) for not paying employees« wages. A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 145.1 of the Russian Criminal Code.
According to the investigation, the head of the organization, which is engaged in building construction, did not pay salaries to 47 workers from January to September 2025. As a result, the wage debt to them amounted to 10 million 450 thousand rubles (approximately $116,100 at current rates).
— Meanwhile, the director of the enterprise had the real opportunity to repay this debt, but he used the funds for other needs. Thanks to measures taken by the investigator of the territorial investigative department, the head of the organization fully repaid the accumulated debt to subordinate employees during the investigation, — the press service of the SKR for Krasnodar Krai reports.
Employees of the company appealed to the head of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Andrei Maslov. After that, the investigation of the criminal case was placed under control in the apparatus of the investigative department.
Regarding the criminal case, investigative actions are continuing, and the collection and securing of the evidentiary base is underway.
