On the highway near Zarechny, the driver of a VAZ-21120 accelerated and lost control. The car veered into the oncoming lane, where a Lada-211440 was traveling. A collision was unavoidable.
It all happened on the night of February 1. He faces liability in the form of large fines and administrative arrest. The car is now in an impound lot.
At the wheel of the Lada was a sober 23-year-old driver, who was in the car with three passengers. Over five years of driving experience, the young man has received 56 fines.
In the accident, both drivers and the passengers of the Lada were injured. All the injured were hospitalized with injuries.
“At the accident scene, traffic police officers carried out all necessary measures. During the inspection of road conditions, deficiencies in winter road maintenance were recorded, and materials were sent to the servicing organization with a demand for their elimination,” noted the traffic police.
