Revda accident survivor schoolgirl jokes about escaping hospital

Ten-year-old Lisa, who survived a drunk driving accident in Revda, is recovering. As the girl«s mother told her teacher, Lisa has even started joking and wants to go home soon. She is currently in the 9th Children»s Hospital of Yekaterinburg.

«Lisa is a smart girl, she slept soundly last night. Her legs hurt, but she endures it courageously. She says she«s tired of lying here, needs to recover quickly and escape. She even joked: “Mom, you»re in slippers, let«s escape together in one slipper.” So, her mood is good, and that»s very good», — said in the mother«s message.

Currently, teachers are continuing to collect funds for Lisa«s rehabilitation. How long the recovery will take and what specific procedures will be needed is still unclear. It is only clear that it will take a lot of time.

«Her legs are very badly damaged. Doctors are monitoring and are not rushing [with prognoses], as the situation is not simple. The most important thing is that Lisa is breathing on her own, speaking, understanding, but does not remember what happened», — told E1.RU teacher Maria Beloglazova.

Recall that the accident occurred on the evening of October 27. On the day of the tragedy, Lisa came for a sleepover with sisters Kira and Anya. They asked to go to the store and were already returning home with purchases when a car hit them on the sidewalk. Lisa survived, and the sisters died on the spot.

At the wheel was 37-year-old active participant of the SVO (Special Military Operation) Mikhail Slobodyan, alcohol and drugs were found in his blood. In video from the scene it is visible how he behaved immediately after the accident. He has already been sent to a pre-trial detention center (SIZO).
