According to the press service of the regional prosecutor«s office, the management company »Azimut« has been held accountable. It was established that the utility workers »did not take effective measures for proper maintenance of the territory.« The first outcomes — an administrative case with a fine of 40,000 rubles (approximately $400 at current rates), plus a prosecutor»s representation.

But this, naturally, is far from all: after the injured city resident undergoes rehabilitation and the amount of compensation for the damage caused is determined, the prosecutor will again go to court — already with a lawsuit in favor of the girl. And the criminal case, initiated immediately after the accident (point «v» of part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), has not been canceled — it is under the control not only of the supervisory authority but also of the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin.
