Lada Driver Survives Fatal Highway Crash in Kuzbass
On Friday, 30 January, a collision between a Lada and a Toyota in the Promyshlennovsky District of Kuzbass killed two passengers, while both drivers survived with injuries.

A collision between two passenger cars, one domestic and one foreign-made, occurred in the Promyshlennovsky District the day before. The passengers of both vehicles died in the accident, the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported on Friday, 30 January.
The accident occurred between Vaganovo and Promyshlenny around 12 noon, when a VAZ-2115 drove into the oncoming lane, where a Toyota Corolla was moving at the time, and the collision could not be avoided.
Preliminarily, the 53-year-old driver of the VAZ car drove into the oncoming lane, where a collision occurred with an oncoming car driven by a 31-year-old driver, the agency reports.
In the incident, two people died: a 56-year-old passenger of the domestic car and a 34-year-old man from the foreign car. The drivers of the vehicles sustained injuries of varying severity.
The culprit of the accident now faces up to seven years in a penal colony, and the causes and circumstances of the collision are being investigated.
A violation of traffic rules last week caused the death of a Kemerovo woman who was in an ambulance that got into an accident.
