Kabluk Truck and Aurus Collide in St. Petersburg and Moscow

On the morning of January 29, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Tipanova and Lensoveta streets in the Moskovsky District of St. Petersburg. A «Kabluk» model truck collided with an «Aurus Senate» sedan.

The damage to both vehicles was minor, and no injuries were found as a result of the incident. The license plate of the Aurus featured the letters «KS,» indicating the car«s possible affiliation with the Federal State Budgetary Institution »Avtotransportny Kombinat« (Motor Transport Combine) under the Administration of the President of Russia.
The price of a new «Aurus Senate» sedan from official dealers in Russia starts at 33 million rubles (approx. $352,000 at current rates) and can exceed 50 million rubles (approx. $534,000) with optional extras.
Despite the small number of cars of this brand in the city, this is not the first accident involving an Aurus in St. Petersburg. For instance, in the summer of 2024, a similar incident occurred in the city center near Gostiny Dvor on the eve of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
On the same day, January 29, another road accident involving an Aurus was recorded in Moscow on Arbat Street. According to preliminary information, the second party in the collision was a taxi, resulting in injuries to the taxi driver and a passenger.
