Head-On Truck Crash Kills Model on Yekaterinburg Ring Road

In a fatal accident on the Yekaterinburg Ring Road, 42-year-old Liliya Chemerova died. On the afternoon of January 29, she was driving from Verkhnyaya Pyshma towards the Novo-Moskovsky Tract, lost control at speed, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with a truck.

Details of the crash were provided by the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sverdlovsk Oblast.

“At the wheel of the Honda was a resident of Yekaterinburg with 18 years of driving experience, who had previously been held administratively liable 18 times for traffic violations. The condition of the deceased at the moment of collision will be determined based on the results of the appointed examination,” the traffic police said.

After the crash with the Honda, the truck also entered the oncoming lane, where it collided with a Toyota Avensis.
