Former Labor Ministry Official Alexei Sklyar Secretly Buried in Moscow

In New Moscow, they said farewell to 50-year-old former deputy head of the Ministry of Labor Alexei Sklyar. His funeral took place at Khovanskoye Cemetery in Kommunarka on December 19, MSK1.RU reported, citing the official«s ex-wife Yulia Sklyar.

«We said farewell to Alexei as it should be. I won«t answer personal questions,» she stated in a conversation with MSK1.RU.

The funeral was held in a closed format. The 33-year-old widow of the official, Alina, whom Sklyar married after divorcing Yulia, declined to comment on the farewell to her husband.

It is reported that the monument on the grave of the former deputy head has not yet been installed. Memorial wreaths were sent to the former official by his colleagues from the Federal Treasury Office (FTO) for Krasnodar Krai, where he worked before moving to Moscow. The memory of Alexei was honored with a wreath by the head of the Federal Treasury, Roman Artyukhin. Flowers were also sent to the grave of the former official from the Ministry of Labor.

Alexei Sklyar was born in the city of Slavyansk-na-Kubani in Krasnodar Krai. For a long time, he worked in the Federal Treasury until he advanced to the Ministry of Labor.

In 2018, Alexei took the post of deputy minister of labor and social protection of Russia. He oversaw issues of information systems and the provision of government services in electronic form. In 2022, the chairman of the government, Mikhail Mishustin, removed him from his position. Sklyar«s further career path was related to business in the IT sphere.

Recall that Sklyar«s body with a gunshot wound was found on the doorstep of his country house in the village of Popovka on January 15. Soon, information appeared in the media about the mysterious deathbed message of the former official: «My wife is to blame for everything.»

In a conversation with MSK1.RU, the 33-year-old wife of Alexei, Alina, stated that everything was normal in their family, and rumors about the note are greatly exaggerated. Shortly before the death of the former official, the couple had a child.
