The Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar has placed former vice governor of Krasnodar Krai and director of «Kuban 24» Anna Minkova under house arrest for two months — until March 27. She is accused under Part 4, Article 159 of the Russian Criminal Code (Fraud on an especially large scale). The investigation requested this preventive measure. The court agreed with the position of the Investigative Committee, as Minkova has minor children.

Recall that Minkova was detained on January 27. Investigative actions were carried out at her workplace — at the media holding «Kuban 24».

As reported by 93.RU, back on October 27, Minkova announced that she was stepping down from her post as vice governor, which she had held for 10 years. She oversaw the social sector. The official stated that it was her personal decision. The very next day, she officially headed the media group. And the former general director of «Kuban 24» Alexander Rudenko took Minkova«s position.
