Two teachers fired from a kindergarten in the Leninsky District of Chelyabinsk have been delivered to the Investigative Committee. This occurred after a scandal sparked by an audio recording of cruel treatment of children.
The women are suspected of «systematic beatings and other violent actions against minors, causing moral suffering.» A video recording of the investigative actions was published on the evening of January 29 by the Investigative Committee«s office for Chelyabinsk Region.
A criminal case on the fact of torture was initiated on the same day. The incident occurred at Kindergarten No. 257, where the prosecutor«s office began an inspection after the publication of an audio recording from the younger group.
The recording was made by the mother of one of the pupils, who noticed that her son had started crying constantly and being afraid of everything. She hid a voice recorder in a soft toy, and the obtained evidence was handed over to journalists by the parents.
On the audio recording, it can be heard how the teachers scold the children for not going to the toilet or behaving restlessly.
