Fight Breaks Out at GUM Skating Rink Opening After Blogger Calls Star 'Sweet'
A scuffle disrupted the ceremony at the famous GUM department store«s seasonal ice rink.
On the evening of November 30, the opening of the GUM skating rink took place in Moscow, attended by celebrities including Philip Kirkorov. The event was marred, however, by a fight that broke out between the pop king«s director, Maxim Sitnik, and blogger Suad Muratovich. According to StarHit, the blogger was the first to show aggression, and Maxim refused to tolerate such behavior.
»First, the men clashed on the ice, then continued the altercation by the boards. According to eyewitnesses, Muratovich publicly insulted Sitnik. The director, breaking free from his companions, lunged at his offender, and a scuffle began—the opening ceremony had to be temporarily stopped,« reports a StarHit editorial source.
The incident followed a public insult and led to claims of subsequent threats.
According to Maxim, the blogger behaved inappropriately and used foul language, which led to the conflict.
«Saying »sweet little baby« and laughing, that seemed too much for me. I couldn»t help but make a comment. I just said: why say such a thing? After that, he started acting like a tough guy, and now he«s changed his tune to play the victim,» reports the SHOT Telegram channel.
Nevertheless, the blogger himself is convinced on his social media that he is the victim. He says he wanted to take a photo with Philip Kirkorov.
«We approached, I started saying: »Can I take a photo with you? You«re a handsome guy.» I don«t remember exactly what I said. I looked at my friend and said: »Look how sweet he is.« And he really was dressed very sharply, shining,» recounts the blogger. «At that moment, Maxim turns to me: »How are you talking? How is he «sweet» to you?«»
According to Suad, a verbal argument then ensued between him and Maxim, which escalated into a physical fight. The blogger now claims he is being threatened.
«Just now, a stranger called me and told me to leave the country for a few weeks until everything settles down. I»ll answer right away to everyone who calls me with such threats and advice—I may look like a worried, confused boy in this story, but you probably just need to understand that I don«t care about your cheap, fucking threats,» the blogger writes on social media.
He indicated he is ready to meet with those who are displeased and talk. In his statement, he also apologized to the pop king.
«Philip Bedrosovich, of course, I apologize for the »sweet« comment, if it was offensive. But your concert director, he and I will remain in this story for a long time,» he wrote.
