Fatal Accident in Krasnozersky District Caught on Video

The moment of a fatal accident in Krasnozersky District of Novosibirsk Region was captured on a surveillance camera. The footage was published on January 30 in the community «AST-54» on VKontakte.

The recording shows that a woman was hit by a car«s wheels while crossing the road. The driver failed to stop in time and struck the pedestrian at high speed — according to the traffic police, she died before medical personnel arrived.

The accident occurred on the morning of January 29. According to preliminary data, at 08:10, a 38-year-old woman in a Kia Rio was driving from Promyshlennaya Street towards Lenin Street in the work settlement of Krasnozerskoye.

At the 3rd kilometer, she hit a woman. The victim was crossing the roadway from left to right, and she had no reflective elements on her clothing.

Earlier it was reported that in Barabinsky District, a 50-year-old man died as a result of a road accident.
