On the night of January 29, an SUV caught fire in Murmansk. The fire was reported to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) at 01:08. It occurred on Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya Street, near house number 8. This was reported by the Murmansk Region EMERCOM to journalists from 51.RU.
The aftermath shows the SUV with a cracked windshield and burned-out engine compartment.

The fire severely damaged the front part of the vehicle. The flames completely gutted the engine compartment, destroyed plastic components, and damaged the paintwork over an area of about two square meters. Due to the high temperature, the windshield also cracked.
The fire was fully extinguished by 01:31. One fire and rescue unit was on scene: 9 personnel and 2 pieces of equipment.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no casualties.
This is not the first car fire recently. On January 20, a parked car caught fire in Polyarnye Zori, and on the 19th, a fire occurred on Gvardeyskaya Street.
