The air raid alert in Voronezh Region lasted for 9.5 hours. It was declared the day before, on January 19 at 21:22—the all-clear was announced by the governor at 06:45 in the morning. Warning sirens for an immediate drone strike threat were not activated anywhere last night. However, explosions were still heard—air defense systems were at work. According to the regional head, over one city in the Voronezh region, Russian forces detected and destroyed three Ukrainian drones. There are preliminarily no casualties or damage.

As reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, all three fixed-wing UAVs in Voronezh Region were eliminated after 23:00 on January 19. From that hour until 07:00 on January 20, another 29 drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were destroyed over eight other Russian regions. The most massive attacks were repelled in Bryansk Region and Crimea—nine drones were downed in each. Two UAVs were eliminated over Belgorod, Kursk, Volgograd, Astrakhan, and Samara regions, and one more—over Smolensk Region.
