Bus overturns in Antalya, killing eight and injuring 26

A bus overturned in Antalya, Turkey, resulting in fatalities, according to the governor of Antalya province, Hulusi Şahin.

TASS quotes the governor:

«This morning around 10:20 (same as Moscow time) in the Dosemealti district of Antalya, a bus failed to negotiate a turn and overturned into a ditch, unfortunately killing eight of our citizens. Another 26 citizens were injured. We will soon go to the hospital to get information on the condition of the injured. Work is underway to identify the deceased.»

According to authorities, among the injured there are people in serious condition. According to Turkish TV channel TRT Haber, at the moment of the accident, passengers were literally trapped inside the bus and under it.

Medics and emergency services are working at the scene. It is not yet known if there were Russians or other tourists among the passengers.

Another incident occurred in Thailand. There, in a traffic accident, a Russian blogger-traveler named Vadim died. Details were told by his friend Anton Yefimov on social media. Also in the accident, Vadim«s girlfriend Darya was injured. The girl sustained serious injuries.
