Court bailiffs have closed a cafe in a Yekaterinburg waterpark for 30 days. The action was prompted by an investigation by the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor). After children with acute intestinal infections were admitted to city hospitals, it was established they had all eaten at this cafe. The inspection uncovered violations of sanitary standards there.

«Considering that the violations create a threat to the life and health of children, the Chkalovsky City Court of Yekaterinburg ruled to suspend the food outlet»s operations for a period of 30 days,« the press service of the bailiffs reported.

The bailiffs sealed the entrances and warned the cafe«s management of liability if they decided to reopen before the deadline expires.
