Police in St. Petersburg are searching for a man who attacked an ambulance driver at night in the Krasnoselsky district.
The incident occurred at Leningradsky Prospekt, 74, in a residential complex. Around 1 a.m., a report came in about an attack on an ambulance crew, after which police arrived at the scene.
According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast on January 20, the conflict erupted at the entrance between the driver and a passerby.
The passerby attacked the driver with fists, resulting in the 38-year-old man requiring medical attention. After examination by medics, the victim was released to recover at home. Police are currently working to identify the attacker.
