Airgun shooting injures girl near St. Petersburg mall

Surveillance cameras captured the shooting with an airgun that occurred on January 29 near the Academ-Park shopping and entertainment center on Grazhdansky Prospekt in St. Petersburg. The video shows a female passerby feeling a blow to her head, grabbing her cheek, and looking around.

After the incident, police units and an ambulance arrived at the scene. The teenagers who fired the shot fled, but their identities were established from the video recordings. The local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) department already knew the perpetrators. The investigative department of the Investigative Committee (SK) for the Kalininsky district has opened a criminal case for hooliganism, and criminal investigation officers are searching for those involved.
