People are without heating, it«s already the third day. An accident occurred in the third entrance and they still can»t do anything. People are freezing, little children have caught colds,a local resident said.
The managing company servicing the building, «Remstroikompleks», is dealing with the accident. Its director Vasily Teplov reported that the incident happened on Saturday night in apartment No. 36, where a towel warmer broke off.
To carry out repairs, the heat supply to the building was stopped, and water was drained from the system. Due to severe frosts, water in the old pipes laid under the floor and in the attic froze. After thawing and attempting to start the heating, a new breakdown occurred — the «return line» burst, forcing the system to be shut down again.
Currently, two teams are working on site, totaling eight specialists. According to Teplov, they plan to complete all work today and restore the heat supply.
Today, in any case, [the heating] will be turned on, the heating. Work does not stop. Until the heating is started, they will not leave from there, the director of the managing company assured.
The unified city dispatch service and the district administration have been informed about the situation.
This week, residents of Kushva faced a similar problem, where 12 apartment buildings were left without heating. Last week, an accident occurred in Gorny Shchit — a pipe burst there.
