«People have been sitting without heating, it»s already the third day. An accident happened in the third entrance, and they still can«t do anything about it. People are freezing, small children have caught colds,» complained a reader of E1.RU.
The building is serviced by the company «Remstroikompleks». The director of the management company, Vasily Teplov, explained to E1.RU why the apartment building is still without heating.
«On Saturday night, a towel radiator was torn off in apartment 36. [The heating supply] to the building was stopped, [the water] was drained, but since the building is old and the piping runs under the floor and in the attic, due to severe cold, the water froze. Last night, everything was thawed, heating was started, but the »return line« burst, so we had to stop again,» explained the director of the management company.
According to him, two teams are currently working on site — eight people. They plan to complete the work today and restore heat to the building.
«Today, in any case, [heating] will be turned on, heating. The work is not stopping. Until the heating is started, they won»t leave from there,« assured Vasily Teplov.
According to the director of the management company, the city«s unified dispatch service and the district administration are already aware of the situation.
This week, residents of Kushva faced a similar problem: 12 apartment buildings were left without heating in bitter frosts. Last week, a building in Gorny Shchit was also left without heat, where a pipe burst.
