Water supply outage in Tolyatti to last until Monday

In the Komsomolsky district, crews continue to clear the aftermath of a burst water pipe. As a result, residents of houses No. 50 on Gromovaya Street, and No. 55 and 61 on Yaroslavskaya Street have been deprived of cold water supply.

RKS reported that the restoration of water supply may be delayed until the end of Monday.

«Emergency services of AO »RKS-Tolyatti« are promptly repairing damage to a 500 mm diameter main water pipeline on Gromovaya Street. Currently, the damaged section has been shut off and drained, which has allowed to stop the water leak,» reported RKS-Tolyatti.
Residents have been provided with drinking water delivery via tanker trucks, and boiler operation schedules are published on the resource supply organization«s page.
The utility accident occurred on Sunday on a 500 mm diameter main water pipeline under the jurisdiction of RKS-Tolyatti.
«Not only water utility crews but also employees of the contractor company LLC »Avtododorinzhiniring« are working on site. To ensure safety, storm drain grates have been cleared, and the roadway on Gromovaya and Yaroslavskaya has begun to be treated with anti-icing materials,» said Ilya Sukhikh, head of the autocity.
