Water has been cut off in the Neftyaniki district of Omsk. NGS55.RU was alerted to the problem by a reader who said there would be no water on Khimikov Street for several hours.

«There will be no cold water for about three hours at my place and some other houses,» the resident said.

The situation was commented on by Omsk Vodokanal. The company reported that the problem arose due to a power outage at a pumping station. Information about the incident was passed on to specialists, who promised to restore the water supply.

«Omsk Vodokanal did not carry out a water shutdown. The reduction in cold water supply parameters is related to the lack of power supply to the water supply pumping station. The information has been transferred to the power supply organization for urgent measures to restore power supply,» the utility said.
