Three houseplants that need almost no care

Plants in the home create coziness and a special space, but caring for them can take a lot of effort. However, there are flowers that don«t require close attention. A Novosibirsk florist listed three of the most undemanding plants for the home.
Ficus benjamina
This plant often decorates offices, but it will also look impressive at home. The most important thing is to choose a spot for the pot and then not move it. Ficus doesn»t like to be disturbed. Otherwise, the plant doesn«t require special care.
«Ficus loves sun but can also grow in partial shade. The brightness of the foliage depends on the light level,» noted Tatyana Chernova, a practicing landscape designer. «In summer, watering once every 1–2 weeks is sufficient, in autumn and spring once every 2–3 weeks, and in winter even less.»
Ficus loves misting and in return will delight with beautiful foliage.

It can grow even in partial shade and doesn«t require abundant or frequent watering. It also grows well without constant fertilizing. It looks great in interior design. The pot can even be placed in the bathroom if there is a window in the room.
«Zamioculcas tolerates humid atmospheres well and loves warmth. However, it shouldn»t be placed in a draft,« warned Tatyana Chernova.
If you periodically wipe the leaves from dust, they will shine beautifully!
Dracaena

The plant can purify the air in the room and looks impressive. Despite its similarity to a palm, dracaena is a perennial plant from the asparagus family.
«Dracaena is not demanding about soil: it needs a mixture of turf, peat, and sand or a palm mixture. It«s important that the soil is loose and water-permeable. At the bottom of the pot, drainage must be made,» emphasized the specialist.
Dracaena loves water, so in summer it«s worth watering it twice a week, and in winter once a week is sufficient.
If you want to grow something more exotic, it»s worth trying to care for an orchid.
