Residents of Omsk continue to complain about cold in their apartments after a major accident on the networks of CHPP-2, which occurred on January 21. Repairs were carried out on the same day, but Omsk residents still report low temperatures in their homes. In the Telegram channel «Typical Omsk,» a local resident said that in the house at 16th Military Town, 414, there has been no heat for a day. The apartment maintains only +14 degrees Celsius (57°F). According to the citizen, hot water was also cut off today.

The Omsk State Housing Inspection commented on the situation. According to specialists, after the accident on the networks, communications froze in some houses. Currently, a team is thawing them out.

All this time, they tried to do something: they circulated water until 3 a.m., but by morning everything cooled down again. During the day, they dug up a frozen pipe in front of the entrance, the radiators warmed up a bit, but immediately a radiator frozen into ice burst. They turned everything off, removed it, put in a plug, and now it seems to be heating up again. This was literally finished an hour ago.«
