Samara Soldier's Wife Charged 94,000 Rubles for Water Debt

A deputy from the provincial duma in Tolyatti intervened in the situation faced by a resident of the auto city and wife of a fighter in the special military operation. She told the parliamentarian about a huge debt that has accumulated for her utility services.
«The wife of a soldier mobilized for the special military operation, living on Zhilina Street, was charged 94,000 rubles (approximately $1,000 at current rates) for water supply services over six months (from May to November). Neither the managing company nor Volzhskie Kommunalnye Sistemy (Volga Utility Systems) have given a clear answer as to where such an astronomical sum came from. It is assumed that there was a technical error, but no one has made a recalculation, and the debt still hangs over her,» said Maksim Guseinov.
He added that he will appeal to the management of Volzhskie Kommunalnye Sistemy (Volga Utility Systems).
«We have already resolved similar issues with them on numerous occasions, and I am confident that this time, the path to correcting the situation will not be long,» added the parliamentarian.
Previously, deputies dealt with the problems of city residents who faced a sharp increase in tariffs for the maintenance of in-house and in-apartment gas equipment (TO VD(K)GO).
Residents of the Samara region were upset twice: first by the very fact of adding another bill to the usual stack of utility receipts, then by the increased amounts of payments.
Some deputies and public figures stood up for the poor payers, criticized the gas companies, and promised to immediately… discuss everything. The gas companies responded emotionally but with arguments.
The regional UFAS (Federal Antimonopoly Service) also intervened, obliging the monopolists to reduce tariffs.
