Prosecutor of the Traktorozavodsky District Alexey Glazkov traveled to the Churilovo microdistrict on January 20 due to a large-scale water supply shutdown.

The press service of the prosecutor«s office stated: »Prosecutor of the district Alexey Glazkov went to the site of the utility accident on the main water supply pipeline along Davydov Avenue. The situation with the elimination of the accident has been put under control. Based on the results of the inspection, an assessment will be made of the actions of authorized officials regarding the timeliness and completeness of measures taken to eliminate the accident.«

The water utility had previously warned of a planned water shutdown on January 20 from midnight to midnight. However, in a number of houses, water supply stopped earlier than scheduled. According to data as of Tuesday evening, 137 apartment buildings were without water.

To provide residents with drinking water, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise «Production Association of Water Supply and Sewage» (MUP POVV) deployed distribution points. Barrels with water were installed at the following addresses:

  • 2-ya Eltonskaya, 50, 52, 54, 56, 59
  • Zaltsmana, 16
  • 1-ya Eltonskaya, 44
  • Dukhova, 27

Representatives of the enterprise added: «We are making every effort to complete the repair work as soon as possible.»
