Omsk residents complain about local internet provider failures

Residents are complaining about outages from internet provider «Omskie Kabelnye Seti». According to Downdetector, service went down around 23:00 on January 25, with complaints later decreasing. However, after 12:00 today, the situation worsened as the number of failures increased.

Some report that their internet has gone out completely, while others have lost Wi-Fi connectivity.

For some, the lack of internet yesterday ruined their day off.

«The internet keeps dropping out. It»s my only day off and there«s simply no internet. What am I paying 800 rubles (about $8 at current rates) for? To sit around with nothing to do,» one customer asked.

«Fix the internet, I want to play.»

Currently, 90% of Omsk residents are reporting a widespread outage from the provider.
