Omsk heating leaks to be fixed in week
The leaks have left many Omsk residents without heating during freezing temperatures.
All leaks on the networks of the «Heat Company» are promised to be fixed within a week, the company stated. Repairs are underway on January 29 at Oktyabrskaya Street, Ivan Alekseev Street, Kommunalnaya Street, 5th Kordnaya, Mira Avenue, and other addresses.
All damages to the heating mains in the city have been designated as urgent. Emergency teams and the dispatch service are operating in enhanced mode, with the «Heat Company» cooperating with the housing and utilities department. Special attention is being given to social facilities during the work.
«In Omsk, measures to eliminate damages on the heating networks have been strengthened by order of Governor Vitaly Khotsenko,» the organization said. «All »weak spots« identified during the cold spell will be fixed within a week. After work is completed at each site, landscaping is immediately restored for winter conditions. The main goal is to ensure residents do not face the consequences of the repairs.»
