Kushva Residents Left Without Heat After Boiler Accident

An accident at the «Ural» boiler house has once again left residents of Kushva, Sverdlovsk Oblast, without heat. The incident was reported by the head of the municipal district, Mikhail Slepukhin.
According to him, a power outage occurred at the boiler house during the night. This caused two boilers to fail and reduced the temperature in the heating networks.
In the morning, the power supply was lost again, leading to the complete shutdown of one of the boilers.
Currently, two boilers are operational. «Right now, two boilers are in operation. Repairs are underway on the second and third boilers. Two teams are working tirelessly. Work on the second boiler is expected to be completed by January 30. The repair of the third boiler will last until February 1. The boiler house is functioning, but with deviations from the standard temperature schedule,» Slepukhin stated.
The district head promised to personally monitor the progress of the work and expedite the restoration of normal heating. For inquiries about heating interruptions, residents should call the Unified Duty Dispatch Service at +7 34344-2-41-42.
Last week, a similar situation occurred in Kushva, when 12 apartment buildings were left without heating.
