Residents of Left Bank have been without cold water for several days. The problem has affected residents of private houses and apartment buildings on Muromtseva Street. It arose due to emergency work on a pipeline. Numerous complaints appeared on social media yesterday, January 19. The prosecutor«s office is now monitoring the situation.

The prosecutor«s office is investigating the water supply disruption that affected multiple residential areas in Omsk.

«The Omsk City Prosecutor«s Office has organized an inspection of compliance with water supply legislation in the activities of JSC »OmskVodokanal« regarding the lack of water supply in more than 30 private sector residential houses, as well as several apartment buildings on Muromtseva Street in the Starry Kirovsk microdistrict.»

As reported by the department, on January 20, repairs were completed. Work is underway to restore water supply. The prosecutor«s office will assess the activities of »OmskVodokanal«.

Today, water was also cut off for residents of Neftyanikov.
