A water supply accident has led to the shutdown of cold and hot water in 19 houses on Socialist Street in the Metallurgichesky District of Chelyabinsk. This street is known for the so-called «German quarter». The local water utility reported the incident on Sunday, January 25.
The temporary outage affected the following buildings:
- houses No. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38
To provide residents with drinking water, the Municipal Unitary Enterprise «POVV» plans to install a water tank between houses No. 2 and No. 8 in the near future.
Recall that earlier this week, a similar accident left dozens of houses in the Churilovo neighborhood without water. Repair work on the damaged water main is being monitored by the district prosecutor«s office.
