7,000 Saratov Residents Without Cold Water for Fourth Day

The Kirov District Prosecutor«s Office has initiated administrative proceedings against an employee of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise »Saratovvodokanal« (Saratov Water Utility) over the cold water cutoff on Batavina Street.
On January 20, a water pipe burst near house No. 13 on Batavina Street. As a result, utility workers had to restrict water supply to 19 buildings and two social infrastructure facilities. Consequently, over seven thousand residents were left without water.
The regional prosecutor«s office press service reports that the oversight agency will separately consider the issue of conducting a recalculation.
